Our Story

Have you ever looked around and realized how many people are quietly carrying something?

Loneliness. Anxiety. Burnout. Grief.
Even in a city full of people, so many of us are navigating life alone.

Before I was a founder, I was a daughter — to a father who lived with anxiety, depression, and deep loneliness throughout his life. Losing him changed the way I see care, connection, and what it truly means to feel supported.

After more than six years in the beauty and wellness industry, one thing became impossible to ignore: almost every person who sat in my chair was going through something. Sometimes they spoke about it. Sometimes they didn’t. But they all needed a place to soften.

LUEUR was born from that realization — the belief that wellness should feel human, not transactional. That calm, connection, and community shouldn’t be luxuries, but experiences people can access when life feels heavy.

Building LUEUR wasn’t easy. It took nearly two years to bring this space to life, navigating permits, setbacks, and uncertainty along the way. What carried us through was community — the same thing we now hope to offer others.

What began as one person with a vision has grown into a team of ten, and continues to grow every day. Our journey is just getting started, and we can’t wait for you to be part of it.

LUEUR exists for anyone who needs a pause.
A place to land.
A place that feels like home.

— Mikhaela, Founder of LUEUR

I miss you every day, Dad. This one is for you.
